Austin A40 Somerset affectionately known as "Phyllis" A bit of a star in her day having been in several magazines and been a Prize in a 1994 Edition of Popular Classic magazine, We have the original magazine with the competition pages, Great story and history with Phyllis. Sadly the owner who won the car and kept for over 30 years has now passed and she has been subject to an extensive renovation, including Brakes, Engine overhaul, full strip and repaint, The original interior is in fantastic condition and the drive is superb baring in mind she's 72 years old, all the chrome has been removed polished and put back on, We have a file of history, all interesting reading, Magazines, Austin owners Club pamphlets, Parts Books, service books which have been so valuable over the past few weeks. Original Sunroof works well, wheels have been repainted, Ready for the show season, she definitely a classy old girl.
